The winning teams in the Monday night openers were Adrian's girls, Archie's boys, and Barstow's girls and boys. Adrian defeated Cass Midway 54-25 in the first girls' game of the night. Emily Hughes led Adrian with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Brenna Tallman and Chelsea Urie each had 8 points for the Lady Blackhawks. Cady Wright and Tesa Renner each had 6 points for the Lady Vikings. Kathleen Yoakum and Kateri Yoakum each had 5 rebounds to lead Midway on the boards. Archie clipped Crest Ridge 55-42 in the first boys' game. Taylor Flannery had a team high 12 points for Archie. Michael Iseman scored 10 points and claimed 9 rebounds for the Winds. Paul MacAlexander had 6 assists for the Whirlwinds. Jordan Erisman led Crest Ridge with 16 points. Alex Everhart gave the Cougars a 12 point 5 assist game. Ben Owens had a team high 6 rebounds for the Cougars. Barstow defeated Crest Ridge 46-36 in the second girls' game of the evening. Liza Freitag had 21 points and 10 rebounds for Barstow. Taylor Phillips scored 13 points, and Caroline Wieland had 3 assists for the Lady Knights. Amanda Locke scored 9 points and dished out 4 assists to pace Crest Ridge. Bree Wonderly had a team high 7 rebounds for the Lady Cougars. Barstow pushed past Cass Midway 58-22 in the final boys' game of the night. Ethan Thomas scored a game high 23 points for Barstow. Orlando Fisher scored 12 points, and Lawrence Brown scored 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for the Knights. Brock Knapp had 6 assists for Barstow. Taylor Ayres scored a team high 7 points for Cass Midway. Dale Aksamit had 4 rebounds, and Bryan Fregeau had 3 assists for the Vikings.
