On the track, Mackenzie is a two-time state champion in the 3200 meter run. She holds the MSHSAA Class 1 state record in the 3200 meter run. She was the state runner-up in the 1600 meter run in 2011. Mackenzie also ran a leg on the Lady Viking’s state runner-up 4x800 meter relay team last May.
