The golf team competed against Bath, Powell, and Wolfe Counties. During the match, Seth Brewer scored a 42, Keenan Hacker scored a 44, with Randy Smith and Cullen Hacker both scoring a 49. The team had a composite score of 184. Bath County placed first with a score of 151. Powell County placed second with 164. Menifee placed third with 151 and Wolfe County placed fourth with 215. MCHS eighth grader Megan Hall also participated in the match. Hall played and teed off against the boys making her course longer and more difficult since the boy's tee box is back approximately 70 yards farther than the girl's tee box. Although the MCHS team didn't come in first, Coach Brian Adkins said they performed well and kept a good attitude. Adkins was pleased with the team's performance.
