4 WILDCAT SENIORS INVITED TO PLAY IN
EMO CONFERENCE SENIOR SHOWCASE GAME ON MARCH 22
The Eastern Missouri (EMO) Conference will host its 5th Annual Senior Showcase Basketball games on Friday, March 22, at North Callaway High School (north of Kingdom City). The EMO Conference is excited and proud to be able to recognize its student-athletes on this stage and is looking forward to a great night of basketball.
Four Montgomery County R-2 Senior players have been asked to play in these games. They include Mackenzie Yager, Makayla Yager, and Danielle Schmidt for the girls’ game and Tim Kroll for the boys’ game. In addition to the Wildcat players there will also be players from the other 9 EMO Conference schools, including: Bowling Green, Clopton, Community R-6, Elsberry, North Callaway, Silex, Van-Far, Wellsville-Middletown, and Wright City.
The girls’ game will begin at 6:00 pm, and will be followed by a 3-point shooting contest for both the girls and the boys. The boys’ game will follow the 3-point shooting contest, and should start around 8:00.
Cost for the Showcase is $4 for adults and $2 for students. EMO Conference passes will not be accepted, as all proceeds raised will go towards an EMO Conference Scholarship Fund.
