Home » Boys' Basketball NewsBasketball Post Season Honors by Alan BrakeMarch 6, 2013 Montgomery County High SchoolJORDAN AND PARRISH EARN POST-SEASON HONORS Jerad Jordan and Cameron Parrish, two Juniors on this year’s Montgomery County R-2 Wildcat Basketball team, have earned area post- season honors for the 2012-13 season. They both were elected to the East Missouri (EMO) Conference All-Conference First Team. They also were elected to the Missouri District 6 All-Tournament Team. The members of the EMO All-Conference team were determined by a vote of the coaches of the 10 schools in the conference. The selections are based on the player’s stats and performance throughout the whole season. This is the second year consecutive year that Jerad has earned the All-Conference recognition, as he was selected to the Second Team last season. For the season Jerad was second on the team in scoring 326 points (12.5 points per game average). He led the team in several categories including: 3-point shots made (49); 3-point shooting percentage (43.4%); free throws made (109); free throw shooting percentage (82%); assists (66); and steals (43). This is the first time that Cameron has been selected to the All-Conference team. For the season Cameron led the Wildcats in scoring with 349 points (13.4 points per game average). He also led the team in the following categories: Total shots made (99); overall shooting percentage (54.4%); rebounds (226); and blocked shots (30). The members of the District 6 All-Tournament team were determined by the vote of the coaches of the 8 schools in the tournament. The selections are based some on the players’ season stats and the rest on their performance in the tournament. It was the first time that Jerad and Cameron have been selected to the District All-Tournament Team.
