Montgomery County Football - Wildcat Challenge 2012
January 11, 2012
By John Klekamp of Montgomery County High SchoolOnce again, the Montgomery County High School Football Program is in full swing with our Wildcat Challenge the 2012 version. What is the Wildcat Challenge? Well it is a competition among football prospects for the 2012 season. This competition is based on the two principles of County Football - "Doing your best in all areas of life" and "Doing what's right when no one is looking".
On Wednesday December 28th, the 2012 Football Seniors drafted student-athletes ranging from 8th grade through 11th grade. The teams compete by accumulating points through participation in athletic events, good grades (twice a month grade checks), community service, participation in BFS strength and conditioning, any and all football activities. The teams also lose points for lower grades and school consequences like detention, ISS, and OSS.
How do I know what team I am on? You can check in with Coach Moultrie in the high school or with Coach K at the middle school.
One of the first opportunities to help your team is to sign a 2012 Letter of Intent. You can pick up these letters from Coach Moultrie, Coach K or from this website under football forms on the left side of this page. The Letter of Intent is the beginning of your commitment to the Montgomery County High School Football Team. Please read the letter carefully and understand when you sign your name, your are committing to a group of people that are ready to hold you accountable to something bigger than yourself!
