The Monroe Central Boys came back from nearly 30 points down to take second place in the 8 team Northeastern Invitational last Friday night.  Union County won the championship by six points 106-100 in the long and cold evening of competition.  The coaching staff couldn't have been more proud of the Bears!

Nearly all the Bears had season best times in this highly competitive meet.  Champions for the Boys' were:

-Senior Chase Bly won the 1600 with a sizzling personal record time of 4:49!  Chase also placed a close second place in the 3200 with a season best 10:46.  Chase also was the third leg of the victorious 4 x 400 relay team.

-Sophomore Josh Randall was beaten in a photo finish in the 110 High Hurdles with a season beast 16.40 and won the 300 hurdles in a fast 42.46.  Josh also had a season best second leg of the victorious 4 x 400 relay with a fast 54.22!
