C-Team Basketball vs Union City 1/09/13

By Mike Thornburg of Monroe Central Jr.- Sr. High SchoolOn Wednesday night the Monroe Central C Team hosted the Union City Indians. The Golden Bears shook off the rust from a long holiday lay off to claim a 40-30 victory. Cameron Newton led the way with 14 points, and Noah Cothrum chipped in with 11. The win evens their record at 5-5. The C Team will next see action on January 15th when they travel to Richmond to take on the Red Devils.
