JV/Varsity Girls Basketball vs Muncie Burris 12/15/12

By Mike Thornburg of Monroe Central Jr.- Sr. High SchoolMonroe Central put Burris in a nine-point hole in the first quarter and won 42-28. Emmarae Roberts and Makelya McGrath led a balanced Monroe Central (3-7, 2-3 MEC) scoring effort with each having eight points. Kalle Gaddis pulled down 6 rebounds to lead the Lady Bears.
GIRLS JV BASKETBALL: After dropping a 32-18 game with Shenandoah on Tuesday, the JV avenged the loss Saturday night against the same Raiders 24-14. It was a nice team win.
The next chance to see your Bears will be in the Monroe Central Holiday Classic next Thursday and Saturday night.
