JH Boys Basketball at Union City 12/10/12

By Mike Thornburg of Monroe Central Jr.- Sr. High School7th grade boys fell behing early to Union City Westside and could never recover losing 32-18. The Bears are now 5-3 on the season and play at home Thursday against Wes-Del.
The 8th grade Bears continued their winning ways last night defeating Union City (Westside) 51-40. The Bears were lead by Dustin Brown with 19 points, while Derek Goodman added 14 points,which included pouring in three 3 pointers. All together the Bears knocked down six 3 pointers for the game. The Bears have won two straight games and look to continue their winning streak Thursday vs. Wes-Del.
