JH Boys Basketball vs Selma 12/06/12

By Mike Thornburg of Monroe Central Jr.- Sr. High SchoolThe Bears lost 50-38 to Selma Middle School. The loss brings the record to 5-2 on the season. Bears are back in action Monday at Union City Westside. Practice tonight after school until 4:30.
The 8th grade Bears beat the Selma Braves last night 52-42 in the Hall Gym. After trailing at the half the Bears outscored the Braves 33-21 in the second half to secure the victory. Leading the way for the Bears was Isaac Smithson, Dustin Brown and Derek Goodman with 10 points each. The Bears are back in action on Monday Traveling to Union City.
