JH Girls Basketball at Muncie Northside 12/5/12

The seventh and eighth grade girls basketball team traveled to Muncie North last night.  Both teams at one point were down seven or eight points but fought their way back in the fourth quarter and pulled it out.  The seventh grade won by a score of 28 to 24.  The win gives them a record of 3 and 2 on the season.  The eighth grade was down 3 to 10 at halftime and 12 to 19 at the end of the third quarter.  The girls put on a full court man to man press and closed the gap.  When the time ran out, the final score was MC 25 and North 24. Two great comebacks and a lot of hustle and heart  displayed by both MC teams last night.  Great job girls!!!  Next game is the MC Invitational on Saturday.
