JH Girls Basketball vs Daleville 11/29/12

By Mike Thornburg of Monroe Central Jr.- Sr. High SchoolThe girls junior high basketball teams were both victorious last night against Daleville in Hall Gym. The seventh grade took control of the game from the beginning and never looked back. Eight different girls scored for the bears. Great team effort!!! Final score 33 to 15.
The eighth grade started a little slower and went into halftime down 2 to 12. The girls came out fired up and outscored Daleville 20 to 4 in the second half. This was the second win for the girls this season which brings their record to 2 and 2. Great job girls!!!! Next game Monday at Yorktown.
