JH Boys Basketball at Blue River Valley 11/29/12

By Mike Thornburg of Monroe Central Jr.- Sr. High SchoolAfter a slow start the 7th grade boys went on a 28-11 second half run to defeat Blue River 47-21. The win makes the Bears 5-0 on the year. All players who dressed played very well. Nice team effort. Practice after school until 4:30.
The 8th grade Bears were defeated by the Blue River Vikings last night by a score of 48-39. The Bears were lead in scoring by Dustin Brown and Cody Mieth who combined for a total of 21 points on the night. This loss makes the teams' record 2-4 on the season. The Bears are back in action at home on Monday night against Muncie Wilson.
