JV/Varsity Volleyball vs Wapahani 10/10/12

Last evening the lady bears celebrated their dig pink or bear paws for a cause night in honor of breast cancer awareness month. They knew Wapahani was highly talented but they stood up to the challenege. The lady bears lost a hard fought match in three games and Erin Hodge had amazing passing performance and a season high 7 digs. Erin also had 2 aces on the raiders and shaylee stigleman added one ace. Morgan Engle also passed well and added 4 digs. In hitting Lauren Muzzareli lead the team with 3 kills and Abby Silvers was behind her with 2 kills. As a coach I can honestly say I have never seen my team come together and perform like they did last evening. We played amazing last night and we will remember that performance forever! This is great for us because we will go into sectional ready and confident for daleville next Thursday night in sectionals.  On the evening the Monroe central lady bears were able to raise almost 600.00 to support breast cancer from a team bake sale, raffle tickets for baskets, ber paws for a cause tee shirts, and general donations.
