The county finals was a classic on Saturday night as the girls did everything they could to bring home the hardware and fell just short of the goal 58-56 to Winchester. The game was played at Union City.
The loss takes the record to a solid 10-4.
Next up for the JV girls’ will be Monday night at Southern when the team will play Union City. A win will advance them to the finals at Union on Tuesday.
Both teams will travel back to the Wigwam on Thursday to face the Indians again for the second straight week.
