Marshals claim 2nd District Championship, will host Region 1 Tournament

MAYFIELD - Marshall County boy's soccer team won their 11th District Championship since the year 2000 Thursday evening at Graves County High School with a 1-0 victory over Calloway County. Only once in the last 13 years have the Marshals not advanced to the Regional Tournament and that was in 2008 when they lost in the first round of the District Tournament 2-0 to Graves County.
