Hello MHS Wrestling Parents, wrestlers & coaches
We have a great opportunity to raise funds for our booster program and the MHS Wrestling program by working at the AAU State Tournament on Sunday February 26th at Chaifetz Arena (SLU)
(last year we worked 10 tables and earned $3000 - this was our only fund-raising, no selling, no special event) - It was a fun day and we saw a lot of excellent wrestling of all ages from all over the state.
In short we need 3 people per table. Two are heavily involved in the scoring, record-keeping, the other on the floor with towel and ankle bands. It is a full day of wrestling leaving approx 7 am finishing approx 8 pm.
If our group is to participate we need to claim our spot in the next couple weeks.
Last year many families had dad, mom and wrestler or 1 parent and wrestler. Your wrestler is knowledgeable on the scoring and officiating and we encourage their involvement.
While we realize this is quite a commitment please understand that we are doing this for our kids by developing the program. Amongst other things proceeds from fundraising help provide uniforms, gear, equipment, pay for coaching and many other things.

ONCE WE COMMIT TO PROVIDE WORKERS WE MUST FOLLOW THROUGH. WE CANNOT HAVE NO SHOWS.
It's a fun way to meet the other parents and get involved in this exciting sport!
