Do you like glamor, drama, and music? Mankato East’s Hoffman Road Stage Company is putting on a production of the Broadway musical Aida this November. The play revolves around the love affair between an Egyptian captain and a Nubian princess under guise as a slave. Taking place in ancient Egypt, the musical has a surprisingly modern feel, with rock and roll music and intense choreography. This musical is a must see, and you’ll laugh, cry, and want to dance along throughout the entirety of the show. Bobby Shultze stars as male lead Radames, and Judy Kamara as female lead Aida. Other cast leading cast members are Mason Bultje, Lauren Andrego, Alyson Enderle, Jack Willette, Geoffrey Tollefson, and Sam Drummer. Make sure you attend at least one of the four performances, slated for November 8th at 7:30, November 9th at 7:30, and November 10th at 2:00 and 7:00.
