Cameron Duncan made the last of his three 3-pointers with 59 seconds left to lift visiting DeSales past Western 51-50. Western then held the ball for the last shot, but Duncan stole the ball with three seconds left.

The Colts (7-9) trailed 41-38 entering the fourth quarter.

Duncan scored a game-high 20 points, while Charles Jacobs led the Warriors (7-9) with 16.

Trinity 76, Franklin County 35: Fresh off a Louisville Invitational title, the host Shamrocks (16-2), ranked No. 1 in Kentucky, stormed to a 48-14 halftime lead and smothered the Flyers (11-9).

Charles Foster and Damon Thurman, scoring 10 points each, led a balanced attack for Trinity, winner of 11 straight.

Seneca 65, Atherton 60: Devon White scored a game-high 26 points to lead the visiting RedHawks (4-13) past the Rebels (7-9). Devin Mayfield led Atherton with 16 points.

Doss 59, Butler 55: The visiting Dragons (10-8) surged to a 20-11 lead after the first quarter, hit just 6 of 11 free throws in the fourth quarter and barely held off the No. 11 Bears (9-7). Stephon Bryant paced Doss with 17 points. Demetrius McReynolds led Butler with 15 points.

Iroquois 78, Shelby County 47: Keion Goff scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the visiting Raiders (9-7) in a rout of the Rockets (2-16). After leading by three points, Iroquois outscored the Rockets 49-21 in the second half.

Oldham County 51, Grant County 46: Jacob Kopp scored 15 points to lead the visiting Colonels (15-5) past the Braves (10-7).

Fairdale 76, Valley 50: Boo Crabtree and Cory Thomas scored 15 points apiece to lead the host Bulldogs (7-11) past the Vikings (5-9).

Bullitt East 101, Nelson County 52: Derek Willis made four three-pointers on his way to a game-high 20 points to lead the visiting Chargers (15-3), No. 2 in The Courier-Journal’s Litkenhous Ratings, to a rout of the Cardinals (3-14).

Bullitt Central 61, Whitefield Academy 44: Caleb Craddock scored 21 points to put the visiting Cougars (13-4) over the Wildcats (8-8). Damon Shephard chipped in with 17 points for Bullitt Central.

St. Xavier 56, Christian Academy 50: Brock Keisler had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds to lead the host Tigers (12-6) past the Centurions (7-9). Nathan Smith chipped in with 12 points for St. Xavier. Jonathan Finch and Sawyer Hobbs each scored 13 points for Christian Academy.

North Bullitt 71, Waggener 67: The Eagles (10-6) pulled away in the fourth quarter as they hit 27 of 31 from the free-throw line to pull past the host Wildcats (6-10). Brandon Goeing led the Eagles with 18 points.

Male 74, Collegiate 45: Zach Moran scored 19 points along with 10 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (11-10) past the Titans (10-5).

First round at Holy Cross

Holy Cross 72, Shawnee 61: Dominique Mack totaled a game-high 23 points to lead the host Cougars (5-12) over the Golden Eagles (2-14).

Portland Christian 73, Evangel 61: Trenton Scroggy exploded for 40 points — including six 3-pointers — as Portland Christian got past Evangel.
