Eagles Fly Over McCreary Central

The Madison Southern basketball team opened up a double header last night in Berea with a big win over McCreary Central.  The Eagles scored their second straight win by coasting to a 78-56 victory.  Senior Tyler Abshear scored 20 points for the Eagles and senior Mike Rothermel added 16 for the win.  Almost every member of the team, eleven in all, scored for the Eagles during the game.  Coach Shane Buttry was glad to see such a solid effort from the team and was especially thankful for the opportunity to get some of his bench players more time on the court than they usually get.

The Eagles will be back in action for a double header with East Jessamine tonight.
