Harris Impresses at All-America Combine

Sophomore running back Damien Harris has impressed a lot of people this season and he turned even more heads a few weeks ago at the All-America Combine  sponsored by Under Armour.  500 high school players were invited and Harris was one of only about three dozen sophomores invited; at the end of the combine he was named to the first team.  Harris' invidiaul 40 time of 4.3 was one of the fastest of the entire combine.  

The combine consisted of a series of individual skill tests as well as drills.  The players also went through interviews with coaches and websites such as MaxPreps and Scouts.com.  247Sports named him the MVP of the entire combine!  Harris has received nine scholarship offers from Division I schools including Michigan and Ohio State.  He has been invited to attend Alabama and Oklahoma's spring practices and colleges continue to call and send him information.  The next two years for this Eagle will be an exciting time for the football program at Madison Southern!
