In mid-November, the FBLA hosted their annual school-wide blook drive. 95 students and teachers volunteered to donate blood during the blood drive which was held in the gym. Also during Thanksgiving week, nearly thirty students traveled to New York City for the every other year FBLA field trip. The students saw Mary Poppins on Broadway, checked out the view of the New York skyline from the top of Rockefeller Plaza, and shopped in Times Square. More importantly the students dropped off items that were donated to aid with Hurricane Sandy relief and cleanup efforts in New Jersey. The FBLA was able to donate 14 tubs of supplies and over $11,000 to the efforts.
