Eagles Roll Over Bell County

Senior Tyler Abshear scored 31 points and led the Madison Southern Eagles to a victory over Bell County Tuesday night in Berea. The senior guard continued his hot start to the season as the Eagles won 65-46.  The Eagles are now 3-1 on the season.  As hot as the team was offensively, the defensive effort was great as well and what Coach Shane Buttry was really impressed with.  "We forced 22 turnovers and were able to put a lot of pressure on them...that gave us some easy opportunities on the offensive side of the ball," he said.

The Eagles will be back in action tomorrow afternoon against North Oldham at Southern.  The game will begin at 4pm.
