Usually schools play other schools in the area for scrimmages before the season, but the Lady Eagles will be playing some opponents they are very familiar with. The Lady Eagles will square off against a team of former MSHS girls' basketball players. The alumni returning for the game include Tosha Boggs, Brooke Casteel, and all-time leading scorer Nikki Jeck. Word is that the alumni are looking for a big win, but the Lady Eagles plan on using their quickness and defensive pressure to pull out a victory in this unique game. The game begins at 7:00pm tonight at Madison Southern.
