Sipple Supports Team Dawna

This summer Madison Southern's principal David Gilliam was impacted by cancer when his wife Dawna was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Since then, "Team Dawna" has been a rallying cry for students, teachers, and other people in the community, especially at Southern and Farristown, where Mrs. Gilliam works.  

Austin Sipple, a junior at MSHS, made t-shirts and sold them to show pride for the class of 2014.  Instead of spending the money though, Austin decided to donate the $500 check to Team Dawna during halftime of the October 12th home football game.  The money will be donated in Mrs. Gilliam's name to the Central Baptist Cancer Fund.
