Home » Football NewsEagles Rushing Attack Leads to Third Win of SeasonSeptember 22, 2012 Madison Southern High SchoolFive games into the season and the Madison Southern football team has already picked up more wins than all of last season. The Eagles are now 3-2 after coming back home with a 41-12 win over Southwestern Pulaski Friday night. This was an especially big win for the team since Southwestern Pulaski are the defending district champs. The Eagles rushed for nearly 300 yards as a team and sophomore running back Damien Harris continued his strong start to the season and rushed for 256 yards on 14 carries while scoring 5 touchdowns. Harris got the Eagles on the board within the first twenty seconds of the game and then senior quarterback Adam Simpson connected with senior John Williams on a 79-yard play action pass that put the Eagles up and they never looked back. The Eagles will be back in action in Lincoln County this Friday night.
