BUZZZZEERRR! Trojans win in Overtime

The Lake Worth boys' basketball team is making a run for being one of the best teams in the county this year.  It improved with another victory in a huge district game against Atlantic last night.  The never die Trojans were down two points with 3 seconds left as Jerry Oliver found Eno Pierre-Louis alone for a short jumper to tie the game and send it into overtime.

The Trojans kept control in overtime and ending up defeating Atlantic 78-72 in what was one of the most exciting games played in Palm Beach County this season.

Aaron Horne led the Trojans with 29 points. Craig Dukes added 18 points.  The Trojans proved to be clutch in the overtime period as the difference of the game was foul shots and they capitalized being 10 of 13 from the line in the extra quarter.

The Trojans are 13-1 and Atlantic dropped to 11-5. Atlantic played a great game as well as their top player Jamal Palmer put 31 points on the board.

The Trojans travel to Park Vista tomorrow night in their next game.
