Home » Football NewsPreview:Lake Worth @ Atlantic NOTE:TIME CHANGENovember 2, 2012 Lake Worth Community High SchoolThe game tonight between Atlantic and Lake Worth has been moved up an hour and kickoff will be at 6pm. The location is still Atlantic High School and it is a huge battle for Atlantic. Atlantic can win outright the district tonight with a victory over Lake Worth. The 13-7a District is one of the toughest in the county and winning tonight will mark a huge milestone for the Atlantic Eagles. Lake Worth on the other hand has a chance to play spoiler as they have been giving fits to each team in the playoff race in the district. A win tonight for Lake Worth would send the 2nd seed in the district into a 3 way playoff for that spot between Santaluces (who they lost to 21-20), Atlantic, and the loser of the Royal Palm/Dwyer match up. Leading the way for the Trojans to play spoiler will be big defensive nose tackle Darrell Farrington, 6-3, 320 pound lineman, who has not gotten the look that he deserves. Consistently every week he has been giving nightmares to opposing offenses because you have to double sometimes triple team him as he wreaks havoc on the front line. Last week, Lake Worth held Dwyer to no running game because of the big man stuffing the line and other players for Lake Worth's defense running around doing their assignments and making plays. The Lake Worth defense has been tough all year, very stingy, is the term used around the campus. The offense needs to get on the same page and play spoiler tonight and go out there and execute and make plays to have a chance in this game. Looking to make the plays will be the senior WR, Slot duo, Richard Seraphin and Jermer Braswell. It should be a tough one tonight for both teams as the good run game of Atlantic will face off against the tough run defense of Lake Worth. The Game starts at 6pm at Atlantic in Delray, FL.
