Delano 2 Loretto 6

The Larks stay alive in the Region 11C tournament in Dassel on Sunday by defeating the Delano A's 6 to 2. The Larks struck in the first when Brandon Scanlon led off the game with a single, Eric Schutte was hit by a pitch, and Tyler Maher would single to load the bases. Ryan Schaust came through with a 2 RBI single down the left field line.

The Larks added 3 more in the 3rd when Scanlon again singled and stole second base. Kent Koch singled up the middle to advance Scanlon to third. Koch would steal second and Eric Schutte would deliver a clutch two RBI double. Josh Hanson added another run on the inning with a sacrifice fly to right field to score Schutte.

The Larks would add another insurance run in the 7th when Kent Koch walked and scored on a double to the center field wall off the bat of Eric Schutte.

Adam McGrane picks up the win going the complete game and scattering 7 hits and giving up two runs.
