Loretto 7 Delano 4

Loretto takes care of Delano on PJ Hanson night in Loretto. PJ was inducted into the NSL Hall of Fame prior to the game. Delano struck first in the game when Jeff Althoff doubled and Kevin Jaunich singled him home in the 3rd. The Larks responded in the 4th scoring four runs. Eric Schutte led off with a walk, Tyler Maher followed it up with a double. Ryan Schaust walked to load the bases. Josh Hanson was hit by a pitch to bring in Schutte. Herb Koch Jr. plated two more runs when he singled down the right field line. Kent Koch added an RBI single to make the game 4-1. Delano would answer back with three runs in the 6th to tie the game at 4. The Larks struck again in the 6th with a two out rally, when Brandon Scanlon singled, Kent Koch was hit by a pitch, and Eric Schutte hit an RBI single to center field. The Larks would add two more insurance runs in the 8th to seal the win. Kent Koch singled and advanced to 2nd by a pickoff attempt by by Delano's pitcher Judd McKown. Tyler Maher had an infield single that moved Koch to 3rd. Maher stole second base and Ryan Schaust delivered a clutch 2 RBI single .

Nick Koch gets the win on the mound going 6 2/3 innings. Giving up four runs, 2 earned and scattering 8 hits. Randy Moselle closed out the game and did not allow a run.
