Loretto (10-6, 9-3) beats Rockford 7-4 on a hot sunday evening.  Nick Koch comes off the DL to get the victory going seven innings giving up two runs on seven hits.  Randy Mossell pitched the last two innings.  Rockford led 1-0 in the second when the larks finally got on the board tying the game 1-1 on a Nathan Maher RBI single scoring Reed Pawelk.   With the score tied 2-2 in the fourth,  the Larks would take the lead for good.  Reed Pawelk starts the inning with a single and Josh Hanson follows that up with a double.  Nathan Maher would get an RBI fielders choice scoring Pawelk and Herb Koch Jr. executes the safety sqeeze scoring Maher for the 4-2 lead.  In the fifth, Eric Schutte would lead off the inning with a triple and Tyler Maher would get an RBI single.  Reed Pawelk would score Maher with an RBI double for the 7-2 lead.  Rockford would add two runs in the ninth but wasn't enough.

Next up Loretto travels to Buffalo friday night .  Game time 7:30.
