Tyler Maher steals the spotlight at the All-star game!

The East All-stars hang on to win the 2012 North Star League All-star game defeating the West by a score of 6-4. In an evenly matched game on a beautiful night and Arnold Klaers Field both teams had some timely hits to push runs across. Tyler Maher stole the spotlight by taking home the Homerun Derby title and also winning the game's Most Valuable Player. This year the award is named the Lyn Sheplee MVP award in honor of longtime KRWC radio broadcaster who called many North Star League games throughout the years. Maher in the game ended up 3 for 3 with two singles and a homerun to left field to put the East team up 5-4.
