In a battle of East and West division leaders, the Larks play a good all around team game to top the Lakers with a score of 3 to 1. Behind an outstanding performance on the mound from righty Adam McGrane who got the victory. McGrane threw a complete game four hitter with 9 K's. The Larks struck in the 2nd inning when Tyler Maher led off with a double. Reed Pawelk grounded to 2B to move Maher 90 ft away. Next batter Josh Hanson would bring Maher in with an RBI groundout to the shortstop. The Larks would plate one more in the 3rd when Nate Maher scored on Brandon Scanlon's RBI groundout to take the lead 2-1. The Larks took andvantage of a Laker error in the 6th and Scanlon would score on a Sacrifice Fly off the bat of Tyler Maher.
