Loretto 14 Cokato 5

For the second time in a week Loretto (6-4, 5-3) defeats  Cokato with tonights score of 14-5.  The Larks finished the game with sixteen hits with every player in the starting lineup with a hit except for the old guy behind the plate.  Tyler Mahar got Loretto on the board in the first with a two run homerun to left center.   This is Maher's second homerun of the year.   Loretto would take a 5-3 lead in the fifth when Cokato would tie the game off starter Herb Koch Jr.  The Larks would answer with five runs on four hits.  Nathan Maher, Herb Koch Jr., Brandon Scanlon, and Kent Koch would all have RBI's in the inning.  Loretto would add three more in the seventh highlighted by a Kent Koch two RBI single and one more in the eighth for the win.  Troy Beckman would pitch the last four innings with Koch Jr. getting the win.  

Next up Loretto travels to Dassel Cokato friday night.  Game time is 7:30.
