February 22, 2013 vs Preston - District Finals

The Lions took on the Trojans in the District final at Wilton on Friday night.  Lone Tree opened up quick but Preston cut the lead to 2 at the end of the first.  The Lions did not get any breathing room as they held just a 3 point margin to end the half 29-26.  The Lone Tree pressure defense got to the Preston guards as they held the Trojans to just 20 second half points and they advance to the sub-state with a 57-46 victory.

This game was about intensity and defense-we came out and really made their guards work for every shot, I thought Gabe and Lucas did a great job defensively as well as Logan on the 6'7 kid.  we really came out and played with a purpose.

Scoring for the Lions- Bryan Forbes 27, Gabe Lorack 9, Andy Dodson 8, Trenton Gosnell 7, and Logan with 4. Rebounding-Bryan 10, Gabe 4, Andy and Logan with 3 each.
