Friday the Lone Tree Lions traveled to IMS to play their divisional rival.  The Lions came out strong building a 25-10 lead after the first quarter on 10-11 shooting and some very tough defense. Lone Tree cooled down a little on the offensive end but held IMS to 9 points in the second quarter as the led 38-19 at the half.  Lone Tree continued to play great defense through out the second half and they win at IMS 72-48.

I thought our guys came out of the gate with their game faces on, we played very hard on both ends of the floor and I really thought that our defense and transition was the keys to the game, we got out fast early and never let up.  IMS is a good team and a tough team to play especially at their place.

The Lion JV squad earned win number eleven on the season with a victory over IMS.  The Lions lead 29-24 at half before extending the lead and winning the game 53-35.  The strong defensive effort during the second half was the key to the win.  Scoring for the Lions: Jared Hudson 4, Ty Schillerstrom 2, Thomas Viner 12, Nick Viner 5, Travis Gillham 8, Greg Feldman 1, and Matt Wieland 21.
