The Lone Tree boys basketball team participated in the English Valleys jamboree on Monday.  The team played Iowa Valley in a 16 minute half.  The Lions opened up the first quarter leading 27-11 relying on their pressure defense.  Lone Tree caused the Tigers a lot of problems with their defensive pressure and high tempo offense.  The second quarter was much of the same as the Lions scored 55 points in a half and win 55-33.  I really liked the pace that we played, we got up and down and moved the ball very well against their zone and we hit some shots as well.  We need to be smarter on defense and not reach so much and commit silly fouls away from the basket but over all the guys played hard and the pace of the game was where we wanted it to be.

Scoring was as follows-Andy Dodson 13, Bryan Forbes 12, Gabe Lorack 12, Shay Hudachek 7,Matt Wieland 5 Trenton Gosnell 2, Jordan Quigley 2 and Lucas Sieverding with 2.Rebounding was as follows-Bryan 6,Llogan and Gabe  4, Lucas and Matt with 3 each.
