The girls captured 1st place at the English Valley Invitational last night, beating out several bigger schools. Ella Feldman led the way with 2nd place, followed by Alena Loan 7th, Julie Wehemeyer 9th, Paige Doeherman 11th, Allie Heitman 24th and Rachel Davidson 29th. The team ran in a good pack throughout the meet, allowing for them to push each other. The girls knew coming in that the final team places were going to be close at the end but were determined to not let that distract their focus. The team was very pleased with the win but are ready to get back to work and travel to Mount Pleasant next week.

The boys placed 6th out 8 teams at English Valley. We were able to run a Varsity team and Junior Varsity as well. Chris Ford led the Lions with a 17th place finished followed by, Shay Hudacheck  39th, Carson Simonsen 40th, Tim Tryon 47th, Jacob Quiqley 50th. Our Junior Varsity runners placed 25th and 37th . Our boys were happy with their overall finish last night but also know that they have room for improvement.
