August 27, 2012 - JV WACO Tournament

Monday night the Lone Tree Lady Lion’s JV volleyball team traveled to WACO for a tournament. The girls did a very nice job of playing as a team. The first game was against New London. The Lady Lions fell short 8-21 and 14-21. Next, the Lady Lions faced Highland. The first game was won 21-15, the next two were close battles but the Lady Lions lost 11-21 and 6-15. Last, the Lady Lions faced Holy Trinity. They lost again 9-21 and 8-21. There was some great setting in the games by Darrian Spillman, Hailey Comer, Bridget Fuhrmiester, and Liz Griffin. In the front row Morgyn Edwards, Alex Comer, Nattie Attig, Sarah Rundlett, and Aly Forbes did a great job. We also had some great serving efforts from the Lady Lions by Lexi Flake and Shauny Squires. Our libero Hannah Johnson also did a great job in the back row.
