August 25, 2012 - West Branch Tournament

The Lone Tree Lady Lions traveled to West Branch on Saturday, August 25th for a tournament. Lone Tree had the wonderful opportunity to play against many skilled volleyball teams. It was great to get to see different teams, some of which will be played against in regular season play. First, Lone Tree went up against Regina falling short in two matches. Scores for that game were 19-21, 4-21.  Next, Lone Tree faced Central City and lost in two matches as well. The scores for that game were 20-22 and 14-21. The third game was against WMU, again The Lady Lions fell short 9-21 and then 13-21. Last, the Lone Tree Lady Lions got to face Highland. Again, they lost in two matches with the scores being 16-26 and 21-25. There were some close matches, and we have found areas to work on in the future. We are excited to start conference play, and feel as though we have what it takes to improve and start winning some matches!
