Lone Tree Community School2012 Preseason Outlook
The Lone Tree football team will return 15 letterwinners in 2012, including ten returning seniors. Three players who received all state recognition in 2011 and eight players who received all district recognition will return to this year's squad.
Lone Tree will open their season with non-district games at home against Mediapolis and on the road against 2010 class A state champion North Tama. District 5 competition will open at 2010 district champion WACO and will conclude at home against 2011 state champion Lisbon.
