Lady Lions vs Wapello - June 19, 2012

On Tuesday, the Lady Lion softball team lost to Wapello 7-0.  Lone Tree stranded 15 baserunners in the game. Avery Edwards had an outstanding pitching performance with 5 strikeouts and only one walk. Avery along with Dezi Martinez got the only hits for the Lady Lions.  "The girls played hard and made some very good defensive plays, but we just couldn't come through with the hits when we needed them."  The Lady Lions next host Pekin on Thursday.
