February 9, 2012 vs IMS - First Round Regional

Coming off of a great win, the Lady Lions began district play against IMS.  Both teams started off on the right foot with the end of the first quarter: Lions 10, IMS 8.  With the half quickly approaching the Lions scored 10 more points only to be out- matched by IMS.  The second half, someone seemed to have put a lid on the basket as the shots were taken and bouncing right out.  It was tough to see the girls work hard and not see the benefits of their efforts. It was a tough way to end the season.  The team will miss senior Elyssa Mills, but hope to put in some additional work over the summer to work on their shots and other basketball fundamentals going into next season.
