Lone Tree got off to a slow start falling behind 14-5 after the first quarter. Danville opened up the second on an eleven 3 run going up by 17 mid-way through the second. The Lions responded with a run of their own, closing the quarter on a 10-4 run cutting the Danville lead to 6 at the break. The Bears opened up the 3rd scoring the first 4 points to go up by 10. The Lions hung tough and chipped away at the lead and cut it back to 6 by the beginning of the 4th quarter. The Bears closed out the 4th on another run and the Lions lose their 3rd game of the season 60-48. This game as a good test for us, we turned the ball over too many times and were killed on the boards, you can not do that with a quality team like Danville, I really thought our guys played hard the entire game and left it all on the floor. Scoring-Bryan Forbes 20, Logan Forbes 9, Andy Dodson 7, Max Larew 4, Connor Larew 4, Gabe Lorack and Tyler Gosnell with 2 each. Rebounding-Bryan 13, Logan 7, Connor with 4 The Lion JV team ended the season with a loss to Danville 41-72. The team’s final record on the season was 16-3. Scoring for the Lions: Shay Hudachek 6, Thomas Viner 5, Nick Viner 7, Travis Gillham 3, Ty Schillerstrom 2, Trenton Gosnell 9, Chris Ford 2, and Matt Wieland 7.
