The Lady Lions defeated Waco 47-40 on Friday. The girls played consistently the entire game, holding off a fighting Waco team.  Leading scorers for the Lions included Elyssa Mills with 13 points, and Ella Feldman and Madelyn Flemr each with 12. Both Ella and Madelyn were 100% in their free throw attempts.  Avery Edwards led in assists with 5, Maggie Schmidt in steals with 4, and Kennedi Warson in blocks with 4.
