PANTHERS fall in Sectional finals!

The Lakeville Girls Varsity lacrosse team played a hard fought contest this evening against the Apple Valley Eagles.  In a decidedly low scoring affair, the PANTHERS found themselves behind at the halftime break 4-2.  In the second half, the PANTHERS were able to mount several comebacks only to have the Eagles respond with a score of their own to quell the PANTHER charge.  After a frantic closing five minutes that saw the teams trading goals, the Eagles were able to run out the clock and claim the Section 3 title and a birth in the State Tournament.  The final score was 9-7.  The PANTHERS end their season with a 14-3 record.
