Weather Not!April 29, 2012 Lakeville North Lacrosse - GirlsThe PANTHERS only struggle, this afternoon, was how to keep warm as the temperatures at game time dipped into the mid 30's. This did not proclude the PANTHERS from coming out for the first minutes of the game smok'in hot, as they jumped out to a five goal lead in short order. Wayzata was not able to mount much of a counter attack as the PANTHERS continually put pressure on the Trojan defense throughout the first half. The PANTHERS dominance of the Trojans continued in the second half as they cruised to a 20-3 victory. Defenders Megan Skelly and Molly McHugh were pressed into offensive action, each scoring this afternoon, while Defender Savannah Krueger added an assist. Meagan Lebens and Kacie Waagbo gave Hannah Koloski a break from taking draws, as well. The JV team lost to the Trojans earlier in the afternoon. The PANTHERS travel to Prior Lake on Monday, to take on the Lakers. Come out and support LNHS Girl's Lacrosse.
