PANTHERS dominate Apple Valley!

The PANTHERS jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, as they dominated Apple Valley this evening.  Once again, draw controls were the key to putting the opposition on the defensive, as the ball barely made it into the Apple Valley end of the field for the first ten minutes of play. Hannah Koloski fielded an extremely high percentage of the draws to lead her team on the attack.

The Panthers took a 12-4 lead into the halftime break, and continued to expand on that lead in the second session.  Offensive stand-outs this evening included Lauren Storhoff with six goals, and Kacie Waagbo with five.  The Panther squad was very efficient with there scoring opportunities as they tallied six free position scores, as well.  The final score this evening was 18-7, pushing the season record for the PANTHERS to 3-1.

The JV played a spirited contest earlier in the day, losing to Apple Valley 15-3.

The PANTHERS travel this Thursday to take on Eagan, the first of a string of five AWAY games surely to test the young PANTHER squad.
