ST. PAUL, Minn. – Concordia University head softball coach Bob Bartel has announced the signings of four recruits to join the Golden Bears in the fall of 2013 – pitcher Linzy Heim (Plattsmouth, Neb.), corner infielder Liz Jarosz (Chippewa Falls, Wis.), middle infielder Emily Shinn (Lakeville, Minn.) and catcher/utility Elena Koncar (Milwaukee, Wis.).

“I believe this group of signees will help strengthen our program and keep our tradition of recruiting great athletes both on the field and in the classroom,” Bartel said. “The coaching staff is looking forward to working with these fine student athletes starting in the fall of 2013 and throughout their softball careers here at CU.”
